Testing
Our Tecsound Attenuators are tested in accordance with ISO 7235 “Acoustics – Measurement procedures for ducted silencers – insertion loss, flow loss and total pressure loss.”

Hi. I have a new MHR system which uses 100mm ducting, but the long runs to the bedrooms are too noisy. Would this be suitable? I think the flow rate is about 10-15/s. Questions: 1. There does not seem to be any difference in the sound performance of 50 over 100mm. Is this a mistake? 2. Would fitting at the start of a long straight run rather than close to vent exit be OK? 3. Do you do customer size (800mm length) as these are made to order.
Hi Jonathan
I have a similar question, we have installed a MV250H in a customers house it is ducting from 3 rooms with 100mm rigid duct and is extremely noisy when the humidistat boosts the extract speed. there doesn't seem to be any way to control the fan speed as the humidistat overrides the remote control so would 3 of these solve the noise issues we have?
Good morning Iain.
