i-sells.co.uk were contacted to supply ventilation and galvanised spiral ducting for part of Westminster Cathedral. Anita Bowers part of the  i-sells sales team liaised with the clients from ordering the required items through to direct delivery for works to commence.

Some facts relating to the Cathedral:The Cathedral site was originally known as Bulinga Fen and formed part of the marsh around Westminster. It was reclaimed by the Benedictine monks who were the builders and owners of Westminster Abbey and used as a market and fairground. In the 17th century part of the land was sold by the Abbey, the site was acquired by the Catholic Church in 1884. The Cathedral was designed by Victorian architect John Francis Bentley, the foundation stone was laid in 1895 and the fabric of the building was completed eight years later.

London Marathon 2013 The Mall

The London Marathon was first run on 29 March 1981 and has been held in the Spring of every year since.

This year one of our team, John Housden, was privileged to be a marshal at the event. John was situated about half way along the race, 14 miles into the race at Narrow Street watching as the 36,000 runners passed after they had set off from the starting line in Blackheath.

An amazing 700,000 spectators lined the streets in support of the runners.

Ringing The Bells With Confidence at Frampton Cotterell

Frampton Cotterelli-sells.co.uk ducting accessories are used for many applications,  here is one we may not have thought of ourselves using our worm drive clips ( but it just goes to show how versatile our accessories are).

The church at Frampton Cotterell required repairs to it’s 5th bell, the wooden block between the bell and the headstock was split. i-sells worm drive clips were used to clamp and secure it in place.

When you have no room or desire to site an extractor fan internally, why not use an external extractor fan?

Ideally suited for a wide range of domestic residential, commercial and industrial exhaust ventilation applications these fans are a great solution when  indoor space or access is difficult or limited.

This unique range of direct drive centrifugal fans have a removable top for easy access for cleaning and inspection, a large grille opening, back draft damper, pre wired terminal box and backward curved centrifugal impeller. Five models ranging from 4 to 8 inch (100mm to 200mm).

Valentines Day is here again and our old romantic Ductman decided to visit Paris, the city of love, for a well earned break.Ductman, known internationally for his great products, thought he would travel in style by Kair-lines as their planes are always so well ventilated.  After clearing customs he thought he would flex his legs and find a nice restaurant where he enjoyed a great grille.Feeling homesick for the i-sells team, he sent us this picture and promised to be back home in a couple of days to oversee our trade counter and welcome our visiting customers.
