    Voltage used by the fan

Please tell me whether the fan can be used in normal Domestic supply

    Question by SR Khan, 01-12-2017

    Hello Khan

Thank you for your question. Yes this fan can be used in a domestic application. This would depend how long your duct run is also if there is any bends incurred in your run.

    connection to mains supplu

Can this unit be connected direct to the lighting rose? Many Thanks David.

    Question by D Banning, 31-01-2024

Good morning David. We would always recommend getting a qualified electrician to install fans.

You should be able to get the live feed from the lighting circuit, but there must be a fused or switched spur before the fan.
    Kind regards,
    Marc

    Replacment Manrose Fan Unit

Hi, I have a Manrose 4" lit shower extractor fan unit that the fan has stopped working. Can you advise if this is a replacement for their part number 25652 Showerfan Kit? Thanks - David

    Question by David McClure, 08-02-2024

Good morning. I don't recognise that part reference number, but it might be a retail part number for Screwfix or someone like that. I did do a quick Google and the kit seems to contain a fan with an overrun timer, so if your fan, does indeed have an overrun timer, then you need ID100T.

    Kind regards,
    Marc
