#1connectionsDear Sir, Madam, I would like to connect this product on one side to your Manrose f125 inline duct fan and on the other side to a plywood panel. In order to fit it correctly into the plywood panel do I need a specific seal or clamp ? Thank you
Question by Marike, 18-04-2017Hello Marike
The spigot will not 'connect' to the Manrose fan as they will both be male fittings and require a double female connector. The bend is not designed to be 'fixed' to a panel or wall but to pass through an aperture in such and connect to something on the other side (continuation of ducting??) possibly a termination vent which would be fixed to the other side, (again using a double female connector).Replied by i-sells, 18-04-2017#2Fixing MethodsThe listing says "Fittings should be secured using the appropriate fixing method", what are they?
Question by Matthew, 21-07-2023Hello Matthew
Thank you for your question. To secure the bend to the ducting you will either rivet or screw it together and seal the outside joint with some aluminium tape. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to come back to meKind RegardsAnitaReplied by i-sells, 24-07-2023 -
