#1SuitabilityIs this suitable to be used as the ventalition exhuast cover on a recirculating oven extractor vent.
Question by Kevan Cornfield, 23-03-2017Hi KevinThe short answer is no.If you want to vent your hood to atmosphere it would be better to choose something that has a backdraught shutter like the one that can be found in the search bar using QS6170 and if you want it in metal under QS153.Replied by i-sells, 24-03-2017#2Bathroom Ceiling Extractor GrilleHi, We've just had a new bathroom fitted and would like (ideally) to fit a metal or chrome effect 'square' vent grill to the ceiling. Do you have such a thing? (We just require the grill) Thank you
Question by Clive Redhead, 12-05-2017Hello Clive
Most of the chrome grilles are circular an example of one can be seen by entering QS18230 in to the search bar, I have found a square (tile effect) facia (QS18571) but this also includes the fan and I do not think the facia is available as a spare part. There is also a steel extract valve (QS135) but again this is round. Typing 'chrome' into the search bar will give you an overview of fans and facias that are available.Replied by i-sells, 12-05-2017#3is it effective as exhaust for bathroom and utility roommy builder has installed one of each in my utility room and bathroom which are adjacent to each other. 1. is this just a vent or has it got an exhaust linked to it?? 2. is this exhaust as effective as other bathroom exhaust like vent-axia 100 T 3. DO we need to buy the exhaust separately for it??
Question by sakshi, 17-05-2017Hi Sakshi
This product is just a metal extract point that would be connected to ducting (decorative means of covering the hole when an in-line fan is used as the means of extraction). These are usually located in the ceiling and the inside section can be opened (rotate anti clockwise) and closed (rotate clockwise). To test extraction ensure the vent is open and hold a sheet of A4 against it, if the paper holds there is extraction if it doesn't there may be some obstruction in the air path or the fan is not connected to the duct.Replied by i-sells, 17-05-2017#4Why does the middle part of my diffuser keep spinning round? Why is my diffuser spinning around so freely?
Question by Ducty Ductman, 15-01-2020Thank you for your question :) All you need to do is adjust the locking nut on the thread up to the required position you want diffuser to stop. You can see the video explaining in depth by clicking this link: https://youtu.be/EIzBIWR4t5I
