Rytons Cowl 9×6
Rytons 9x6 cowl protects your property from excessive weather and air blasts by covering the airbricks, vents or any other openings.
Preventing draughts and water entering your home from exposed vents not only makes your property more comfortable, but it also reduces energy consumption through lowered heating costs, and reduces the likelihood of water damaging your property.

Installation:
- First, check the free air space of the cowl exceeds the air space required by the covered opening, air brick, grille or vent. Fix the cowl to the brickwork through the pre-formed holes in the flange.

- Surface mounted cover for 9x6 openings, air bricks, grilles and vents.
- Protects against excessive weather conditions and alleviates air blasts through the cavity.
- Textured roughcast finish. U.V. stabilised to slow down the effects of sunlight.
- 9×6 is a nominal size with the vent larger to cover any installation points.
- Total size is 255mm L x 154mm H x 74mm D (see image gallery). Free Area: 16,000mm² (160cm²) per unit.

Good value item and made well enough not to flutter. I had to buy online as I couldn't source locally. Time will tell how well this item stands up to the effects of sun and frost.

Thank you for your question. This item does not have a damper. We do a cowled wall outlet in our 4,5,6" round ducting also in our 4" rectangular ducting.
