Replied by i-sells, 18-04-2016#2Pipe for HRVI am installing a heat recovery ventilation system and was looking at the flexible PVC hose where the pipe is hidden. I was told that this type of pipe created too much resistance to airflow. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you for your question. Flexible hose is normally used for ducting to heat recovery units. It needs to be pulled taught and without any kinks. If you need to incur a bend in the run then I would suggest adding a rigid one as this will keep the airflow consistent where as flexible may fold back in on its self and restrict the airflow.If I can help any further please do not hesitate to contact me.Kind RegardsAnitaReplied by i-sells, 16-03-2018#4Soffit ventIs there a soffit vent to suit the Kair 206 x 62mm ducting?
Question by Mike Solomon, 14-02-2024Hi Mike. Sadly not. The only external grill we have in our range for that duct size is an airbrick Take a look at VKC5631 and see if you can make that work for you.
