- Please Note - will not connect using SYSTEM 150mm pipe connectors as the pipe is the same diameter

Replied by i-sells, 29-09-2015#2DimensionsHi, The drawing for this item at https://www.i-sells.co.uk/inner-ducting-sleeve-for-150mm-round-pipe-1m shows the OD as both 152mm and 150mm. The Quick Info says the OD is 152mm. The Details tab specifies the OD as 150mm and the ID as 146mm. The answer to a question on the page gives the thickness as 0.2mm. To me the most likely explanation of these contradictions is that the Details are right, ie 146mm ID, 150mm OD, 2mm thickness (implied). Can you please confirm. Can you further confirm that this item will comfortably go through a 152mm diameter hole and will snugly fit inside your standard 150mm pipe. Regards, Rob Archer

If using a 150mm core drill cutter, standard 150mm ducting will not fit through the hole the sleeve will and then standard ducting (system 150) can be fitted over the sleeve to connect to the ventilation system.Replied by i-sells, 24-08-2018#3Cowled outlet to fit inner ducting sleeveI currenty have an extracter with 150mm flexible connector and wish to replace with solid pipe. Question by David Gibbons, 17-02-2020Hi David. Any 150mm cowled grill should fit the pipe, and yes, the normal Kair 150mm ducting will connect a 90 degree bend to the inner sleeve.

Thank you for your question. The item you require is product code QS392 as the item you are looking at is used as a wall liner. The QS392 will connect to your outside grille and to the 90degree bend. The core drill hole for this item is 152mm. How can I attach a gravity vent to this pipe? I have DUCVKC292-BR already but this looks like the diameters are the same, will these two items work together? If I use a piece of standard 150mm (internal diameter) ducting as a joint this will then not fit in the core hole. Thanks
Question by Brandon, 20-04-2023Hi Brandon. You are quite right. 150mm duct and grilles can be problematic for the reasons you mentioned.
What you can do to get round this is cut the inner sleeve a little bit shorter to compensate for the depth of the grille's spigot and butt it up against the duct. You shouldn't get any air leakage, as they will be tight against each other. The other option would be to try the stainless steel option, which has a 143mm spigot and is spring loaded to hold it to the duct.Kind regards,MarcReplied by i-sells, 21-04-2023 -
