Fire Cuff 110X54mm Rectangular - System 100
110x54mm intumescent fire cuff stops the spread of fire and gasses travelling between two rooms connected by a plastic duct run.
Very easy to install, simply slide over the ducting, push into the cavity in the wall and secure with intumescent sealant. -

Unit was longer than I expected but as one can cut it I modified one end to envelope the bend's socket as well as the duct - it still projects through the ceiling but that is essential if it is to seal the double boarded ceiling. Easy to fit but impossible to test as installed. Does need fire rated foam or sealant to seal the gaps around the outside particularly against the wall where the duct comes down. (It is supposed to be possible to cut to a U shape so using the wall as the fourth side but I didn't risk it, particularly as it has to pass over a cable duct so would never have sat flush to the wall!) Delivery time and general support from i-sells was excellent. If you need to maintain a fire rated ceiling whilst allowing a duct to come through it then this is a great way to do it.
