KAIR SYSTEM 220 (220MM X 90MM) RECTANGULAR FLAT CHANNEL DUCTING PIPE - 1 METRE LENGTH

White plastic rectangular ducting pipe - 220mm x 90mm x 1000mm (1 metre length).

Kair System 220 (SYS-220) ducting has comparable airflow performance to 150mm Round Duct. Is designed to be low profile to fit inside ceilings, floor slabs, or to be concealed above kitchen wall units. It is best utilised as a part of a ducting system for high powered cooker hood extractors and whole-house ventilation systems, such as heat recovery systems or mechanical ventilation systems in offices, houses, and apartments.

Made in the UK using uPVC Plastic.
Flat channel ventilation ducting pipe can be used a variety of ventilation purposes. Rigid flat pipe offers superior airflow performance to flexible ducting.
Max / Min Temperature: +60c / -15c.
Can be cut to suit.
Suitable to use in compliance with Part F Building Regulations.
Airflow performance independently tested by BSRIA or BRE.
Free Air = 18,545mm2.
Static Pressure Drop in Pascals: 60 l/s = 1.2 Pa - 120 l/s = 3.9 Pa - 180 l/s = 8.1 Pa.

Installation Tips:

Kair plastic ducting pipe is lightweight & easy to install. You simply push-fit the duct pipe and fittings together. For permanent fixings, you can seal the joints with a method of your choice (Popular options include silicone sealant, solvent cement, or tape).
Plastic ducting can be carefully cut to the required size using a hacksaw. Offcuts are always useful to keep to hand for joining two male fittings
Lengths of duct channel can be joined together using a female connector (Part: "DUCVKC5708").
We recommend that you use flat channel ducting clips to fix ductwork to walls and ceilings and support ducting tube (Part: "DOM922").

Duct Sizeing

Hi, I need to replace some duct for a cooker hood which is the wrong size. I need the equivalent of 150dia in flat plastic so it will run along the top of some kitchen units, what do you suggest?

We do 150mm rectangular ducting which is 180mm x 90mm the product code for this item is QS368 or you can use our system 220mm x 90mm product code QS18934 as both systems have nearly the same airflow rates. underfloor application

Hi is it possible to install this product, in a solid floor? I have a downdraft extractor and would like to get from an kitchen Island to an outside wall. The duct would be installed during foundation construction

Hello Craig

Thank you for your question. We would recommend boxing the ducting in if foundations are being laid on top as the structure of the ducting will not stand anything being laid on top of it as this will restrict the airflow.
