Question by David Forbes, 27-07-2016Hello David
I have checked an airflow calculator against the manufacturers specification and the answer is yes, the product would be suitable for hoods up to a max power of 144 l/s or 520m3 hr.RegardsIanReplied by i-sells, 28-07-2016#3EASY TO FIT?Hi, I have a Manrose MF100T ready to fit into a loft of a Victorian terrace, are these easy to fit into the roof line, are they compatible with the Manrose and as the pipework will be going up as against horizontal if going via the soffits, will there be condensation collecting in the pipework or worse, returning to the Manrose? Steve
Question by STEVE, 11-09-2016Hello Steve
The slate vent has a spigot suitable for 150, 125 and 100mm ducting so is compatible with the 100T.The description of the slate vent claims easy installation and fitting with existing tiles and slates but I would expect access to the roof will be necessary.Ducting should be kept as short as possible and only insulated ducting should be used to minimize the chances of condensation forming alternatively a condensation trap could be installed after the machine and as the ducting turns vertically.I hope this helpsIanReplied by i-sells, 12-09-2016#4Roof tile sizeHello, my roof tile size is 20” x 12”, can this product be trimmed to suit as it ok in width but 24” long, needs to be 20”?
