#1OperationI currently have a fixed open louvre to allow air to be drawn in from the outside for combustion of my gas fired tumble driers in my laundrette. However the cold air from outside is making the premises cold, and I was wondering if a gravity flap grill would open from the suction being created inside the premises when the driers are operating and then close under gravity when the driers are not operating thereby reducing the amount of cold air entering the premises.
Question by Ken Dauris, 28-12-2017Hello Ken
Thank you for your question. The flaps on this grille will close but if the area is windy then you will hear them banging and a blow back of air may come through. What size is the hole you have and ducting if any? as this grille is to fit 500mm ducting. if you can advise then I can help furtherKind RegardsAnitaReplied by i-sells, 03-01-2018#2come apartHi, does this come apart easily, as the fan on my burger van has to be cleaned regularly and i dont want to remove the bolts every day, regards adrian.
Question by Adrian Bennett, 19-11-2019Hello Adrian
Thank you for your question. You would have to unscrew any grille to get to your fan as we do not do an external or internal grille that the front comes straight off. You could however install an access door within the ducting if you have ducting near to the fan so you will be able to gain access to the fan to clean. If I can help any further please do not hesitate to contact meKind RegardsAnitaReplied by i-sells, 20-11-2019 -
