hi there, can you tell me the outside diameter and wall thickness of this sleeve please?
Hello Ian
Thank you for your question. The outside diameter is 150mm and the thickness is 0.2mm
Hi, The drawing for this item at https://www.i-sells.co.uk/inner-ducting-sleeve-for-150mm-round-pipe-1m shows the OD as both 152mm and 150mm. The Quick Info says the OD is 152mm. The Details tab specifies the OD as 150mm and the ID as 146mm. The answer to a question on the page gives the thickness as 0.2mm. To me the most likely explanation of these contradictions is that the Details are right, ie 146mm ID, 150mm OD, 2mm thickness (implied). Can you please confirm. Can you further confirm that this item will comfortably go through a 152mm diameter hole and will snugly fit inside your standard 150mm pipe. Regards, Rob Archer
Hello Rob
I currenty have an extracter with 150mm flexible connector and wish to replace with solid pipe. Which cowled vents will fit the inner ducting sleeve? Wall hole is 150mm. Also, do I just need a short sleeve of standard 150mm pipe to connect to elbow? Thanks
Hi David. Any 150mm cowled grill should fit the pipe, and yes, the normal Kair 150mm ducting will connect a 90 degree bend to the inner sleeve.
1. I want to use DOM2100-6 through wall cored with 152mm bit. What is the external diameter and what is the internal diameter? 2. Is there a cowl that will fit INTO the duct at the outside end? 3. Is there a 90degree bend that will fit directly into this duct on the inside end?
Hello Mat
Hi, I have ordered this pipe to go through my 152mm core hole and I'm waiting for it to arrive. How can I attach a gravity vent to this pipe? I have DUCVKC292-BR already but this looks like the diameters are the same, will these two items work together? If I use a piece of standard 150mm (internal diameter) ducting as a joint this will then not fit in the core hole. Thanks
Hi Brandon. You are quite right. 150mm duct and grilles can be problematic for the reasons you mentioned.
