Description
VA150 Window and Wall models and VA140 Panel models are designed to alleviate the everyday problems that condensation and household odours may cause. Effectively extracts odours and moisture laden air from kitchen (K) and utility (U) rooms giving a healthy and fresh environment.

Shutters
The louvred shutter on the VA140/150 is thermo-electrically operated and is concealed behind the interior grille. Operates automatically when the fan is switched On. Trickle vent facility available on all models.

Control
P models are fitted with an On/Off pullcord which actuates both shutter and fan. Control can be via a remote On/Off switch or through the lighting circuit, as required.

Timer models are fitted with an electronic timer which provides the necessary 15 minute overrun time to comply with Building Regulation requirements for internal kitchens or kitchens that do not have an openable window. Adjustable from 3-25 minutes.

VA140/KH and VA150/KH with built-in humidistat automatically switches the fan ‘On' and varies the extract rate according to the humidity level. VA140/UH and VA150/UH are a single speed fan with integral humidity control, the controller switches the fan ‘On' when the Relative Humidity reaches the set point. The fan will continue to run until the RH falls below the set point. Both have integral pullcord switching between automatic humidity control and manual override.

VA140/KHT and VA150/KHT kitchen extract fan with variable speed humidity control and timer which combines the functions of a KH and KT.

Building Regulations
The VA140/VA150 Range is specifically sized to meet the Building Regulation requirements for powered extract ventilation in domestic kitchens. All VA140/VA150 models have a Trickle Ventilation Control facility fitted as standard. The VA140/VA150 range is fitted with internal and external louvres conforming to the latest international safety standards.

For areas subject to extreme wind speeds, it is recommended that baffle kits are used. Please contact our Customer Service Department for more details.

Motor
Maintenance free, sealed for life ball bearings in the purpose made electric motor, economical and quiet running. Double insulated appliance.
Supply voltage 220-240V/1/50Hz. 

Manufacturers of some fluorescent/low energy lighting systems indicate that these can interfere with other electronic/timing circuits. For reliable operation of these circuits we recommend therefore that a tungsten filament light is used.
