Can the fan be fixed into the bathroom wall so that the steam is taken outside?
Hi Peter,
Do you also supply ventaxia ACM100T 17104020 and if so how much is it? can this be put into the bathroom wall so that the steam is taken outside?
Hi Peter,
Is there a maximum duct length for the extractor? I'm looking to run a 6m rigid duct length in total vertically. How much will it affect the performance?
Hello Chandra
Thank you for your question. The ACM fan does a 8mtr straight duct run and a 6mtr duct run with two bends. The ACM Mixed Flow In-Line fan can operate in both horizontal and vertical positions and can be mounted to meet its optimum performance.
is this humidistat controlled or timer or both
Hello Chung,
This unit is a 'standard' in-line fan without over-run timer which is designed to be switched, or used with an optional controller.
If you are looking for an optional humidistat you could use the Kair Humidistat Controller.
Kind regards,
Michael
We have an internal lavatory and due to the lack of external wall access we will have to vent the extractor unit into the waste or soil pipe. Is this fan suitable and is there a non return valve arrangement that would prevent the back fill of odour from the waste or soil pipe? many thanks
Hello Stephen
Thank you for your question. If your duct run is 8mtrs straight or 6mtr with two bends then this fan will do you application. The backdraught shutter is product code QS256 you may also require product code DOM120.

Hi I am currently in the middle of a loft conversion and the layout will be open plan where the bedroom and shower area to the back is without a door. I plan on having a walk in shower that is enclosed from floor the ceiling. In this scenario would the fan be better of inside this area or outside? Thanks
Hello Omar
Thank you for your question. The in-line fan can be situated inside or outside the area and ducted to the extract valve. Could you advise me how long your duct run is from the area to the outside wall.
Kind Regards
Anita
Hi What thermostat would you recommend to operate this product Thanks
Can this be wired to an extractor fan so that when the extractor fan is switched on the inline comes on at the same time I want to assist the extractor fan in removing steam etc, so my intention is to put this in the middle of the ducting run as the extractor is not strong enough by itself
Hello Andrew
Hi I know this might seem a stupid question, dose it connect to the lighting circuit or a ring main
Hello Dave
Thank you for your question. The wiring diagram can be found on the PDF for this fan on our web site. I will send this to you on a separate e-mail.
Kind Regards
Anita
do you supply the vent axia ACM17104010D
Hello Donna
Hi, can this be used as a constant trickle extract fan, and boost with a light? thank you
Hello Zoe
Dear Sir or Madam, I would like to use this fan to extract warm air from my loft on hot days. It would be 'in line' with about 2m of ducting each side with two bends max. Could you please tell me whether the unit is compatible with a thermostat, and if so whether you stock the appropriate one? Regards and thanks
Hello Pete
Hi, can this be wired to a simple on/off switch?
