Mixed Flow Inline Duct Fan with timer for 150mm ducting.
In Line Mixed Flow fans offer two and half times the pressure of conventional axial fans, are dimensionally more compact making them ideal for many ducted applications. The impeller blade design with guide vanes provides optimum pressure characteristics and simple connectivity and quieter more efficient running provides the complete solution.
The ACM Mixed Flow In-Line fan can operate in both horizontal and vertical positions and can be mounted to meet its optimum performance.
Motor
All motors are fitted with Standard Thermal Overload Protection. (S.T.O.P.). Designed for ambient temperatures up to +50°C.
Size 100 and 125 with shaded pole motors. Size 150, 200, 250 and 315 with capacitor start and run motors. All sizes are Class II appliances except ACM250 and ACM315 which is Class I Supply voltage 220-240V/1/50Hz.
Supply and install the ACM range of commercial In-line fans as manufactured by Vent-Axia Ltd, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9YX, Telephone: 01293 526062.
The fan should be of the mixed flow design specifically for use with rigid and flexible ducting with energy efficiency and low sound levels in mind. The fan shall be fitted within the ducted system and isolated from the building structure by means of Anti- Vibration mountings.
The fans should be dimensionally compact saving weight and installation costs. The casing should be manufactured from galvanised sheet steel and manufacture is controlled to BS EN ISO 9001.
The fan motor should be removable by means of 2 Clip Bands for ease of maintenance.
Motors should have ball bearings greased for life to allow the fan to be installed at any angle and should have Class B insulation to allow the fan to work satisfactorily in ambient air temperatures from -5°C to +50°C and should be fitted with Standard Thermal Overload Protection (S.T.O.P.).

How many meters of inlet and outlet pipe can be used on this fan.
Hello Graeme
Thank you for your question. This fan does a 6mtr straight run without any bends.
I've seen a question answered on this site confirming this fan will be sufficient for 6m ducting with no bends. We would like to install this fan to serve a cooker hob, with a filter grill fitted at source. The ducting and fan would be situated within an existing chimney, with the fan located about 2m above hob in an accessible hatch and the ducting outlet at the roof level with a cowl installed. The total ducting length is about 5m. Question is, is the fan location close enough to source to draw moisture, noting there will be an existing draw from chimney. Your thoughts on this would be helpful. Thanks
Hello Sam
Can this fan be ducted in line and provide a space with fresh air supplied from outside? Thanks
Hello Stu,
You could indeed use this fan to supply outside air to a location. This is quite a common usage of the product when trying to ventilate areas without easy access to fresh air, such as internal rooms of a flat.
Depending on your intention, you may find that the 'Standard' model without overrun timer is also of use. The product links are as follows:
Standard Model (Without timer)
Timer Model (Overrun Timer)
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions.
Kind regards,
Michael
