DESCRIPTION

Wykamol Renovating Plaster is a pre-mixed lightweight plaster containing perlite aggregate and water repellent additives. Suitable for use following the insertion of a damp proof course or in conjunction with basement systems such as HydraDRY or the Wykamol Tanking System.

It is particularly useful where improved thermal performance is required, reducing the risk of condensation on external walls or in basements. Wykamol Renovating Plaster should be used as detailed below and in accordance with the recommendations in BS 5492:1990 Code of Practice for Interior Plastering.

Wykamol Renovating Plaster is designed to have similar properties to a 1:1:6 cement: lime: sand plastering mortar, but with perlite aggregate replacing the sand. It also contains a waterproofing/salt-inhibiting additive.

Wykamol Renovating Plaster may also be used in conjunction with Brunolene PS or ‘Techno' SBR latex liquid, thereby improving further the overall resistance to moisture and salts (see separate Data Sheets).
