The Nuaire Drimaster range provides whole home ventilation using the Positive Input Ventilation principle. Essentially the concept is to introduce fresh, filtered air into the dwelling at a continuous rate, encouraging movement of air from inside to outside. To achieve this, the unit is mounted in the loft space, drawing air through the filters and inputting it, at ceiling level, into the property.
Remote Temperature Sensor
The Remote Temperature Sensor incorporates a clip-in fixing bracket which can be removed for easy fitting to a suitable surface.
Select a suitable location for the sensor e.g. close to ceiling height in a bedroom or hallway BUT NOT WITHIN 3 METRES of the diffuser. For use in stairwells of three storey properties, the optional powder-coated aluminium diffuser with ‘Fireblock’ provides 1 hour of fire resistance in accordance
with BS476 Part 20 and ISO834
Intelligent Heat Recovery
The Drimaster is a low-energy whole home ventilation with intelligent heat recovery to optimise energy-efficiency. Easy to install and very cheap to run, this system will provide reliable year-round ventilation. Fitted in the loft, out of site and with no holes to knock through walls, the non-disruptive installation makes it an ideal solution for retro-fit projects.
The Drimaster 2000 units are fitted with an internal temperature sensor and an additional sensor which is fitted in the living space of the property to give us a degree of heat recovery. The sensors continuously monitors the temperature in the loft and the property boosting the unit when the loft temperature is a minimum of 1 degree celsious, this is known as intelligent heat recovery mode.
In summer, when the loft temperature rises above a certain level, the unit will switch itself off automatically. The unit will restart when the temperature drops. Once the unit is installed, the speed setting can be adjusted to suit the house size and, if required, the way it responds to the temperature changes within.

Frequently asked Questions:
Q. What is a Nuaire Drimaster?
A. It is a small, loft mounted, air cleaning/moving device that continuously inputs filtered fresh air into the dwelling from outside. The only ‘visible’ component when installed is the central input diffuser which is usually located in the central hallway/stairwell ceiling.
Q. What does the unit do?
A. The unit will cure and/or prevent the problems associated with condensation in your home, providing a cleaner, healthier living environment for all occupants. The unit will prevent mould growth on walls, ceilings, furniture, clothes and curtains. The unit also radicates the musty smells evident in homes with severe condensation problems.
Q. How does it work?
A. Simply and very efficiently. Outside air is drawn into the loft where it is slightly warmed by the free heat in the loft caused by solar radiation and the heat lost from the property into the loft. This air is drawn into the unit, filtered and then ducted into a
central area (typically the hallway / stairwell) of the dwelling. As the air is supplied into the dwelling it mixes with the warmer air that naturally accumulates at ceiling level taking advantage of the heat from this warm air you have paid for but are not
making use of. This tempered, fresh, clean air then continuously and gently dilutes, displaces and replaces the air within your home. The result is a home free from serious condensation and a more pleasant and comfortable environment.
Q. How do I operate the unit?
A. You don’t. The unit is completely automatic, switching from ‘normal’ to ‘boost’ and ‘off’ as required to make optimum use of energy
Q. What maintenance is required for the unit?
A. Very little. The only maintenance required is the replacement of the filters every 5 years. (The filter can also be vacuum cleaned periodically if necessary).
Q. How will I remember to clean the filters?
A. When the filters become dirty, the unit does not input as much air into the dwelling, Condensation and musty smells may become evident. This will be a signal for you to check and clean or replace the filters as necessary. - Click here to purchase replacement filters

my small bungalow is only 6145 c,ft not including low pitch attic. Is this unit suitable or would I need something smaller?
hi do you sell the jumper switch needed for the drimaster heater control unit
Thank you for your question. I have spoken to Nuaire and they have advised me the item you have enquired about is not stock but they have said that a 2pin link wire can be used.
Do they come with all required bitts for installation ie.Diffuser etc to go on the inside of the living accomodation also is it a do it yourself project?
The Drimaster 2000 comes as a complete kit with the required parts for a standard installation, including the ducting hose and diffuser.
The installation can be completed as a DIY project but we always recommend a competent qualified electrician carries out the neccessary wiring.

Hi, I have recently moved into a two bed semi with a Nuaire already fitted. With the temp hot at the moment the unit has switched of as i understand it is supposed to. Can it be used through summer to circulate air in house or is this something it is not built for. If so how do I adjust it. Thank you, Gary
Capacity of Drimaster. Our house is an old 2 storey building. 3100 square feet, with brick walls and high ceilings. Would 1 Drimaster 2000 do this area?
Thank your for your enquiry. For property-specific questions I suggest you speak with Nuaire technical first to confirm the suitibility for your applciation prior to your purchase as this can vary depending on a variety of factors.
Nuaire's dedicated technical team can be reached by calling 02920 858 500. Once they have advised, please do not hesitate to contact us again and we can assist with any other queries.
How much does the above cost to run
Is it correct that you should keep the windows closed when using the Drimaster unit?
I have been reading a lot of different reviews on the drimaster and some say you are better with the heated one and others are saying you don't need the heat.Could some one please give me some positive help here before I probably make the wrong decision.
There is no 'correct' answer to the question of which Positive Pressure unit is better as it would depend on personal preference and your application.
I would suggest the best thing to do would be to give me a call on 0208 463 9670 between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00 and we can discuss the pros and cons of each unit.
If a rapid decision is required - The Drimaster Heat functions identically to the standard Drimaster apart from the addition of the heater so hat is a safer bet if you are unsure. However, the Drimaster 2000 which you have posted the question on is different in a few ways but this again is best discussed by phone.
Please do not hesitate to give me a call tomorrow to discuss on 0208 463 9670.
With kind regards,
Can you use this in a gound floor one bed maisonette with damp problem mainly in bedroom.
This unit is designed for properties with a loft space and adequate air supply to the loft. The unit pumps air into the property to force condensation out through existing vents in windows, under doors, and through existing extractor fans.
If you give me a call on 0208 463 9670 I would be more than happy to discuss your problem and see if we can come up with the best solution for your particular property.

Do you supply and fit these drimaster ceiling fans as our old one was supplied and fitted in our loft. Thanks
Thank you for your question. We do offer a supply and install service within the M25 area.
If I can help any further please give me a call on 0208 463 9683
Hi , I wonder if you could explain to me the difference between this product and the auto concure unit. Is there any noticeable difference in the two?
Is it the Auto Concure 20/20 unit that you are referring to?
I have to admit that I am not familiar with this Sovereign unit and I have asked a few of my colleagues and they are also not familiar with the unit. However, from a quick look it would seem that the general principle behind the unit is the same.
It's probably best to discuss this over the telephone if you have a few minutes tomorrow (Friday 20th November 2015) as I can discuss your application and we can see if we can find the most suitable unit.
Hi, My son has recently moved into a property with one of these fitted. What is the running time as it only seems to run for about 30 secs then turns off.
Thank you for your question. I will send you the instructions for the unit in a separate e-mail.
I've just recieved my Drinaster 2000 unit but wasn't aware it wouldn't come supplied with the AV mounting. Do you sell these, as I am unable to find them on your website? Thanks
Thank you for your question. Nuaire recommend that the unit is fitted to the joist but if you are unable to do this there is an anti vibration kit which is £42.50+vat available.
Please could you advise how long the flexible piece of ducting is that comes supplied with the unit.
The flexible section of ducting that is supplied with the Drimaster unit extends to a maximum of approximately 2m.
how often do you need to change the filters
Thank you for your question. You can vacuum the filters and replace the filters every 5 years. The replacement filters can be found on our website the product code for these are QS18855

I have a 2 storey 4 bed cottage, with a condensation issue at one end of the ground floor and am not confident that mounting the unit above the stairwell will prove effective! If not can I route ducting direct the problem room? This would be some 8m horizontally and the 3m vertically.
how far can it be ducted from unit
Hi there wondered if the Drimaster can be fitted in the eaves of the house as attic has been converted into a room?
