Domus's 220 firebrake has a 2-hour fire rating and meets the regulations of several authorities.
Simply slide over the plastic ducting, then pressed into the cavity within a wall and secured into place, this Domus Megaduct firebrake could not be easier to install.
Once installed, upon contact with high temperature the firebrake will rapidly expand. The rapidly expanding firebrake fills the void from one room to another, stopping the flow of gasses or flames spreading from one room to another.
The ability to rapidly stop the spread of flames or hazardous fumes from one room to another is now part of the building regulations for new build properties.
