Prevents backdraught when the fan is not in use. Designed to meet and conform to the latest building regulations. The designs have significant advantages over conventional round systems. Its low profile enables it to be concealed when installed along the top of wall units.

I would like to give this a minus. I explained that I needed the products for the next day for the electrician to install and was charged £24 to ensure this. They will arrive between 15.45 and 16.45 when the work is finished!! I have also been charged more than the price in an earlier that same day e mail. Appealing service and I will never use I-sells again -

Yes the Manrose backdraught shutter is fitted with just the one spring as standard. The spring is provided so it can be installed in a horizontal or vertical plane as gravity will close it if fitted vertically.Replied by i-sells, 20-03-2019#5Backdraught shutterCan this be fitted inside a 5" flexible duct by pushing it in through the exit hole, which is horizontal?

Thank you for your question. This item is designed to fit directly onto the Manrose in-line fans only it will not fit into ducting.
