The Vent Axia HR100-RS is a single room heat recovery unit that is designed for a continuous operation providing up to 70% Heat Recovery.

The HR100R and HR100RS are ideal for single bedroom/bathroom applications such as hotel rooms, nursing homes and residential care homes.
The HR100R features top access and is ideal for loft installations.
The HR100RS features bottom access and is ideal for installation on the ceiling slab above a suspended ceiling.
The unit comes fitted with a single 2-speed motor and provides continuous low volume ventilation with a boost option. A variety of control devices are available for manual or automatic speed control.
An integral heat exchanger transfers heat from the outgoing stale air to the fresh air supply, raising the supply air temperature whilst at the same time reducing its relative humidity.
Up to 66m³/h FID capacity (extract airflow). As the unit provides superior control of condensation and odours best use would be in bathrooms or small internal rooms.
Installation
The HR100R is compatible with 100mm diameter flexible ducting which fits onto the unit via the metal spigots and can be fastened using tape or worm drive clips.
Ducting not included.
A 22mm diameter condensate drain connection is situated on the base of the unit, this should be connected to a suitable outlet for condensate drainage.
The HR100R comes complete with a four-core flying lead for connection to the chosen controller/power supply.

#1return faultyWe have a faulty unit, from this order, which became noisy, the installer spoke to Vent-Axia Customer Service and they advised to exchange it. We have already purchased a replacement from you (order no. 445807), how do we go about returning the faulty one as I can not request this.

Replied by i-sells, 05-02-2021#2Loft conversion bathroom extractorI previously have bought the Kair K-HRV150 from yourselves and that works well for an ensuite refit, compared to a standard extractor. Currently I have a loft conversion underway and would like another heat recovery extractor and this looks like it fits the bill. It's likely the extraction needs to go out to the roof. Is this suitable? Could you recommend pipe/ducting and vents (internal + external) that would be suitable and additional items that would be needed with this for fitting? My builder specialises in loft conversions but has never heard of these heat recovery units. I am assuming this can be fitted into the new ceiling which will be quite thick due to insulation fitted these days. Thanks, Giles

Yes you can vent the Vent Axia HR100 through the roof, the type of vents required would depend on what type of roof you have. We can supply HU roof cowls or tile vents.
