White plastic rectangular ducting pipe - 220mm x 90mm x 2000mm (2 metre length).
Kair System 220 (SYS-220) ducting has comparable airflow performance to 150mm Round Duct. Is designed to be low profile to fit inside ceilings, floor slabs, or to be concealed above kitchen wall units. It is best utilised as part of a ducting system for high powered cooker hood extractors and whole house ventilation systems, such as heat recovery systems or mechanical ventilation systems in offices, houses, and apartments.
- Made in the UK using uPVC Plastic.
- Flat channel ventilation ducting pipe can be used a variety of ventilation purposes. Rigid flat pipe offers superior airflow performance to flexible ducting.
- Max / Min Temperature: +60c / -15c.
- Can be cut to suit.
- Suitable to use in compliance with Part F Building Regulations.
- Airflow performance independently tested by BSRIA or BRE.
- Free Air = 18,545mm2.
- Static Pressure Drop in Pascals: 60 l/s = 1.2 Pa - 120 l/s = 3.9 Pa - 180 l/s = 8.1 Pa.
Installation Tips:
- Kair plastic ducting pipe is lightweight & easy to install. You simply push-fit the duct pipe and fittings together. For permanent fixings, you can seal the joints with a method of your choice (Popular options include silicone sealant, solvent cement, or tape).
- Plastic ducting can be carefully cut to the required size using a hacksaw. Offcuts are always useful to keep to hand for joining two male fittings
- Lengths of duct channel can be joined together using a female connector (Part: "DUCVKC5708").
- We recommend that you use flat channel ducting clips to fix ductwork to walls and ceilings and support ducting tube (Part: "DOM922").
- If your duct run passes through a particularly cold area, we would recommend considering using our pre-insulated ducting to avoid condensation building up within your ductwork. Click here to view our range of pre-insulated plastic ducting.
