Hi there, I have this grill fitted in two places on my house and wish to change them for Cowled Grille With Damper - Round Spigot - Black.
Are the back plate the same?
This would save a lot of hassle if I could just pop the grill out and replace it with the cowl with damper, without disturbing the inner pipe etc.

Thank youanswer nowA Hi Stephanie, This video on YouTube will help you to solve that - its for a gravity grille but the same principle applies to separate them.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwYjzLIAeNoBut in case you have any problems - you can just slide a screwdriver down the side and pop it off by gently leveraging it from the retaining clips/lugs. Thank youanswer nowA Hi AndreIf your existing extractor fan hole is 5 or 125mm then this will be fine.Normally Bathroom extractor fans or 4 or 100mm in size so double check.Relating to installing an in-line fan. In its most basic form you would use a grille on the ceiling like those mentioned above, flexible ducting, quick release worm drive clips and in-line fan and another grille for the outside wall or soffits. This grille is normally fitted on the outside with rigid pipe as this is easier to go though the wall. If you require a grille to fit in the ceiling of the bathroom then this item is what is required QS4244.

A Hello Mike This item doesnt have the fly screen in it but item GALCWL-150 does but it only comes in galvanised steel.
