Air flow in small rooms
Hi I have 2 clinical rooms (no noxious fumes ) that require ventilation and airflow for building regs. Sizes are 2.7 m X 3.4 and 2.3m X 3.4m. Would this unit move the air adequately for the 2 rooms if it was situated outside the room and would it be suggested to have ducts ending in a grill in the room? If not what would be the best option? Thanks

Ventilation for a small flat
I live in a 50m2 basement apartment. It is a apartment with windows / doors facing the garden only. As there are no windows to the back, there is no adequate cross ventilation and therefore the apartment can become stuffy with stale air. The bathroom is also set to the rear. I am seeking a long-term ventilation solution / strategy that I presume will run 24 hours a day (silently) and then boost when moisture builds in the bathroom which is circa 7m2. I wish for the background ventilation unit to remove stale air. There needs to be a boost for bathroom ventilation / moisture control taking air in above the shower There is an existing ductwork route that runs to the roof of the ground level that I will use to expel air to outside. This route is about 10m. This unit will sit at the rear of the flat. Can you advise if this is a suitable product for me. Thank you very much. Theo
3 storey ventilation
Hi, I live in a 3 storey victorian property and have been looking at your PIV units. Is there any functional difference between the 3 storey unit and the standard units? The only difference I can see is the fire resistant ducting. Given the price difference between the standard and 3-storey versions and taking into account the cost of fire resistant ducting I was wondering if there was anything else? Thanks Owen
I need a form of ventilation when a straightening service is being done as it lets off a lot of steam and smells and makes our eyes water would this system be sufficient for my salon
Clicking noise from unit
Please can you give me an idea why the unit is making a continuous loud clicking noise. I have changed the filters but it still persists
I bought this fan as a replacement for our broken fan, but I can't get it to work. I've even tried plugging it into a socket but it won't work. The original fan was conected to our bathroom light. The wiring in the ceiling is 3 core black, grey and brown it is also wired through an fan isolator. In the isolater the grey wire is the neutral the brown is live 1 and the black is live 2. I've wired it as per the install wiring diagram but nothing works any help ?
How you know if the heater element is working? The air coming out feels as cold as outside. We've turned the up temperate up to max. I look forward to hearing from you.

Humidity vs condensation
My house/area has a high water table with ~1cm of standing water under the floorboards in certain parts of the house at various times of year. depending upon the rainfall and water table. Which Fixing method gives the best sound deadening ?
Which fixing method gives the least amount of noise while in use? The standard fixing or the joist mounted fixing? Do you have something to compare the running sounds at minimum and maximum settings? Such as sounds like distant traffic? of a jet taking off (which I doubt :-) )

Hello. I need 125mm ducting to pass through a cavity wall, but it is a very tight fit through the drilled hole. I have tried plastic flexi-hose, but it is easily damaged and very noisy. Can you tell me the external diameter of your semi-rigid aluminium ducting, please? Would this be a better choice than plastic, or can you suggest any other products in this situation? Thanks very much.
Hi I have a Neff cooker extractor fan with an outlet of 150mm. They also have included a reducer which fits the spigot of the outlet. I would like to use this. The outside diameter of the reducer is from 150mm to 118 mm would this product be suitable? I`m at a loss of how to connect some venting to this adaptor. Your answer would be appreciated asap
Hi Ian, thanks loads for the heat vs non heat answer. Just a quick question about what power this needs? Does it need a single/double power plug socket or a single/double fuse spur with an on/off to run?

Energy and humidity option
Hi, looks like a great product and a few questions? Our ceiling height on the landing is about 3.5m high. Presume we should opt for the drimaster eco-link-hc over the NUADRI-ECO-HEAT-HC as our landing height and also the fact we have a radiator on the landing and hall would mean the hot air would rise? I can't find anything to do with how much power this takes to run and if it's more efficient than the heat option? Can't understand how the humidity sensor works - can we set it to turn on the fans if the house rises above 55%? Cheers,
Hello. Can this invoice be change to Zimon Building LTD, now it is invoiced to Jan Zimon (director). Regards,

Cooker hood ducting
Hello, If we were to buy a cooker extractor similar to the one on this link. https://www.johnlewis.com/bosch-serie-2-dwp64bc50b-pyramid-chimney-cooker-hood-stainless-steel/p3535603 Could we attach rigid ducting/or this galvanised bend (depending on the height needed to take it over the kitchen cabinets) straight to the 150mm ducting circle at the top of the extractor and do away with any square metal chimney ducting? Hope that makes sense? What else would we need to do this and extract to an outside wall? Thanks for your time
Just bought a couple of these for two dental surgery rooms. Not clear where the controls are... Can I install a wall switch to control operation? What is a suitable product (switch) to use?

Hi Do you have the data sheets for the plastic duct we ordered recently?
DUC/SS100 and DUC/SS125
Fixed louvres and insect mesh reduce airflow rates. What are the manufacturers' free airflow rates in mm2 for both 100 and 125 size fans?
The spec for the fan on your site states that 3m of duct can be used either side of the fan, can I assume that this is the maximum length while maintaining the flow rate. Could I use a longer length and reduce the flow rate, it needs to maintain 216 cubic meters/hour into around 11m of duct.
Only the picture of the three images available loads in Google, what are the physical sizes of this unit?
Kitchen Extractor fan with Humidistat
I need to install a powerful extractor fan in a kitchen that is prone to collecting a lot of steam when cooking, is this a good option or is there another extractor fan you can recommend.

I would like to know if you have an extract vent suitable to be inserted into window panes with a free area of 0.02m≤
I am planning to fit this into ceiling of my shower unit and not sure if this will come with ducting? If not what sort of ducting will I need? I do not need more than a meter of ducting, if that.
Suitable for Kitchen
I want to install one of these in the ceiling over my cooker, which is on an internal wall. It will be vented in the attic to the external wall - about 9 feet. My concern is that the grease, etc., from cooking might have an effect on the fan. Any advice?
