The HR500D is a self-contained unit with integral extract and supply fans to provide balanced ventilation and heat recovery via supply diffusers and extraction grilles. The unit is fully speed controllable.
The compact heat recovery cube interleaves outgoing warm air with incoming fresh air and allows the heat from one to warm the other without the two streams mixing. Energy is saved on room heating with no power being used by the cube itself.
Performance of HR500D: Supply and extract up to 174 l/s FID capacity on heat recovery mode. Ideal for offices, computer rooms, pubs and clubs, etc.
HR500D is designed for installation in external walls and should be fitted to provide a 3° slope to outside to provide condensate drainage. Spigots are provided for 315, 250 and 200mm Ø ducting accessories to internal extract and supply grilles.Typical Range Specifications

Efficiency: The unit should retain up to 70% of the temperature differential of out going air.
Heat exchanger: Should be of a multi plate cross-flow type constructed out of a polymeric plastic with ultra sonic welded joints.
Motor: Should be a 240V 50Hz A/C with sleeve bearings, greased for life. It shall operate up to an ambient temperature of 40°C and be fitted with a manual reset thermal overload protective device.The supply motor shall be configured to be reversible thus providing an extract only option.
Fan: The 2-N° polymeric fan impellers should be of a mixed flow type, dynamically balanced mounted on a fixed stator housing.
Ducting spigots: The unit should provide 315, 250 and 200mm Ø spigots for both duct connections.The unit cannot be handed.
Filter: Should be a washable reticulated foam type coarse filter.
Construction: The unit outer case should be a rigid HIPs moulding configured so as to make the unit telescopic. The internal/external grille should be a cream coloured ABS moulding.

Mains electrical supply: 230VAC 50Hz.
