Mixed Flow Inline Duct Fan for 125mm ducting.
In Line Mixed Flow fans offer two and half times the pressure of conventional axial fans, are dimensionally more compact making them ideal for many ducted applications. The impeller blade design with guide vanes provides optimum pressure characteristics and simple connectivity and quieter more efficient running provides the complete solution.
The ACM Mixed Flow In-Line fan can operate in both horizontal and vertical positions and can be mounted to meet its optimum performance.
Motor
All motors are fitted with Standard Thermal Overload Protection. (S.T.O.P.). Designed for ambient temperatures up to +50°C.
Size 100 and 125 with shaded pole motors. Size 150, 200, 250 and 315 with capacitor start and run motors. All sizes are Class II appliances except ACM250 and ACM315 which is Class I Supply voltage 220-240V/1/50Hz.
Supply and install the ACM range of commercial In-line fans as manufactured by Vent-Axia Ltd, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9YX, Telephone: 01293 526062.
The fan should be of the mixed flow design specifically for use with rigid and flexible ducting with energy efficiency and low sound levels in mind. The fan shall be fitted within the ducted system and isolated from the building structure by means of Anti- Vibration mountings.
The fans should be dimensionally compact saving weight and installation costs. The casing should be manufactured from galvanised sheet steel and manufacture is controlled to BS EN ISO 9001.
The fan should be fully speed controllable by using a variable speed controller.
The fan should be controlled by humidity, air quality or PIR sensor.
The fan motor should be removable by means of 2 Clip Bands for ease of maintenance.
Motors should have ball bearings greased for life to allow the fan to be installed at any angle and should have Class B insulation to allow the fan to work satisfactorily in ambient air temperatures from -5°C to +50°C and should be fitted with Standard Thermal Overload Protection (S.T.O.P.).

Could you please confirm that this fan is suitable for use in a domestic kitchen. Cooker will be a gas one.
Hello Andrew
Thank you for your question. Can you advise what your application is. As this fan is used to extract from bathrooms and can be fitted within the duct run for the kitchen if the cooker hood is not extracting fast enough.
Hi There, I need an in line fan that can extract from a steam room. The inline fan needs to be situated about 1.5 meters away from the steam room extract inlet cover and extract to the atmosphere from the inline fan about 3.5 meters away with 2 no 90 degree bends on the atmosphere side. can you specify a suitable product ?
Hello Danny
We need an extended time on the fan (20 min) would I need to purchase a separate timer? Can you supply one? And the shutter is that also separate and can the fan prevent influx of cold air from outside?
Hello Moya
Hi, Our Miele cooker hood has fried the elctonics controlling the fan motor. New pcb is £380 plus fitting with no guarantee that it wont happen again. Thinking of fitting a ventaxia ACM125 or ACM150 in the duct. Need 2 peeds and extraction rate of approx 200m3 and 400m3. Also do you supply suitable switches for the fan?
