Mixed Flow Inline Duct Fan with timer for 125mm ducting.
In-Line Mixed Flow fans offer two and half times the pressure of conventional axial fans, are dimensionally more compact making them ideal for many ducted applications. The impeller blade design with guide vanes provides optimum pressure characteristics and simple connectivity and quieter more efficient running provides the complete solution.
The ACM Mixed Flow In-Line fan can operate in both horizontal and vertical positions and can be mounted to meet its optimum performance.
Motor
All motors are fitted with Standard Thermal Overload Protection. (S.T.O.P.). Designed for ambient temperatures up to +50°C.
Size 100 and 125 with shaded pole motors. Size 150, 200, 250 and 315 with capacitor start and run motors. All sizes are Class II appliances except ACM250 and ACM315 which is Class I Supply voltage 220-240V/1/50Hz.
Supply and install the ACM range of commercial In-line fans as manufactured by Vent-Axia Ltd, Fleming Way, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9YX, Telephone: 01293 526062.
The fan should be of the mixed flow design specifically for use with rigid and flexible ducting with energy efficiency and low sound levels in mind. The fan shall be fitted within the ducted system and isolated from the building structure by means of Anti- Vibration mountings.
The fans should be dimensionally compact saving weight and installation costs. The casing should be manufactured from galvanised sheet steel and manufacture is controlled to BS EN ISO 9001.
The fan motor should be removable by means of 2 Clip Bands for ease of maintenance.
Motors should have ball bearings greased for life to allow the fan to be installed at any angle and should have Class B insulation to allow the fan to work satisfactorily in ambient air temperatures from -5°C to +50°C and should be fitted with Standard Thermal Overload Protection (S.T.O.P.).

Can this fan be used remote motor and kupperbush chimney hood which has variable speed
Hello Mr Karim
Thank you for your question.
You can add an in-line fan to your cooker hood if your cooker hood is not powerful enough. but it would depend on how long your duct run is also how many bends you have and what size ducting is existing as most cooker hoods are either 150mm and sometimes reduce to 125mm . If you can advise me of this ,I then can confirm if the fan would be suitable
Can I have more than one inlet point if I use 'Tee' duct piece and use one fan? (i.e one point over shower and one point over bath?)
Hello Derek
Thank you for your question. You can have two extract points depending on how long your duct run is. We normally say 8mtrs straight or 6mtrs with two bends.
Is it possible to control the above fan with both humidistat and timer. ie PIR detects person in room fan runs timed and stops (toilet use). If humidity rises or is high(shower use) fan continues to run until humidity cleared.
Hello Brian,
Unfortunately the ACM125T model cannot be used with any controller. The ACM125 model (Without timer) can be used with external controllers.
Please see the the catalogue page for further information on the control options. Did you have a particular PIR sensor and Humidistat controller in mind?
Kind regards,
Michael
1. Can the ACM125T be ducted to three inlet positions? Each in a different room. They would have duct lengths of 1m, 1m and 3m. Each duct would need to have a non-return flap/valve. 2. Can the ACM125T be connected to a 110mm pipe leading to the exterior and still achieve 327m3 airflow performance? With a reducer piece?
