I have cored out a standard 152mm hole to pass this product through an external cavity wall as the standard ducting’s external diameter is around 154mm. Am I correct in thinking DOM2100-6 can butt up against a standard external vent fixed to the outside of the wall and inner sleeve on the inside straight into standing 150mm ductwork (154mm outside diameter) without the need for a reducing type fitting

Hi, I have ordered this pipe to go through my 152mm core hole and Im waiting for it to arrive. How can I attach a gravity vent to this pipe? I have DUCVKC292-BR already but this looks like the diameters are the same, will these two items work together?
If I use a piece of standard 150mm (internal diameter) ducting as a joint this will then not fit in the core hole.

You are quite right. 150mm duct and grilles can be problematic for the reasons you mentioned.What you can do to get round this is cut the inner sleeve a little bit shorter to compensate for the depth of the grilles spigot and butt it up against the duct. You shouldnt get any air leakage, as they will be tight against each other. The other option would be to try the stainless steel option, which has a 143mm spigot and is spring loaded to hold it to the duct.Kind regards, Marc

The item you require is product code QS392 as the item you are looking at is used as a wall liner. The QS392 will connect to your outside grille and to the 90degree bend. I currenty have an extracter with 150mm flexible connector and wish to replace with solid pipe. Which cowled vents will fit the inner ducting sleeve? Wall hole is 150mm. Also, do I just need a short sleeve of standard 150mm pipe to connect to elbow?

Any 150mm cowled grill should fit the pipe, and yes, the normal Kair 150mm ducting will connect a 90 degree bend to the inner sleeve.Kindest regards, Marc.,

When will it be in stock?answer nowA Hi AlanThe sleeve DOM2100 has been discontinued but if you have used a 127mm core drill the standard 125mm ducting will fit.Depending on the depth of your wall, search QS219 if 350mm or less or QS221 if over 350mm.

The drawing for this item at http://www.i-sells.co.uk/inner-ducting-sleeve-for-150mm-round-pipe-1m shows the OD as both 152mm and 150mm. The Quick Info says the OD is 152mm. The Details tab specifies the OD as 150mm and the ID as 146mm. The answer to a question on the page gives the thickness as 0.2mm. To me the most likely explanation of these contradictions is that the Details are right, ie 146mm ID, 150mm OD, 2mm thickness (implied).
Can you please confirm.
Can you further confirm that this item will comfortably go through a 152mm diameter hole and will snugly fit inside your standard 150mm pipe.

Regards, Rob Archeranswer nowA Hello RobIf using a 150mm core drill cutter, standard 150mm ducting will not fit through the hole the sleeve will and then standard ducting (system 150) can be fitted over the sleeve to connect to the ventilation system.
