If you are asking whether there is a controller to run the fan in reverse the answer is no. Question by Mr G.Bowden, 06-02-2019Mixed Flow Extractor Fan. Mixed flow fans allow air to flow in axial and radial direction in relation to the shaft. These fans are widely used in kitchens and bathrooms. It is common to find them on duct systems, which are characterized by high pressure, good air flow and very little noise. This product does not have a backdraught shutter but a quick search of QS256 will reveal one that will be compatible with the ducting for this unit

This product, like all in-line fans, will need to be installed (wired in) through a fused spur in accordance with current IEE regsReplied by i-sells, 03-07-2019#5Replacement for VIT100Good afternoon My existing Silavent VIT100 (230v AC - 50Hz 35/25W IPX2, Dated 2007) ceased working, when i investigated i removed the cover to the small electronic timer box and noticed it has shorted out as there is black flash marks and residue on the plastic casing. I therefore intend to replace the whole unit. For ease and convenience I would like the replacement unit to be identical to my existing model to make life simple for me so that i can wire it straight in. Is the VIT100TB the closest replacement to my existing model, if so is wiring the unit in pretty much the same as how my exisitng model is wired?
