Yes, as it has the required litres per second. However, the cooker hood should still be ducted to the outside.

I need an extractor fan for the kitchen. It has never had one before. What accessories do I need for this model? Will the electrician make the hole in the wall?

The electrician should make the hole in the wall using a core drill. Most core drilles are 152mm, and you will need a rigid piece of 150mm ducting. Usually a 350mm long length would suffice - DUCVKC660. Please note though, this duct has an external diameter of 153.6, so he may need to try and make the hole slightly bigger. You would then need an external wall mounted grill, something like DUCVKC280 will do. That should be all you need. Kindest regards, Marc.
