KAIR STRAIGHT DUCTING REDUCER / ADAPTOR
Kair round ducting adaptor to convert between different ducting sizes. Perfect for applications where space is restricted.
- Ducting reducer easily inserts into female ducting lengths, fittings or flexible ducting lengths.
- Flexible ducting will fit over and require tape or metal hose clips or quick release worm drive clip to seal.
- Can be used with rigid plastic ducting systems.
- For permanent fixings, seal joins with silicone sealant or tape.
Kair plastic rigid ducting is perfect for DIY and trade use. Perfectly suited for ducting your Tumble Dryer, Bathroom or Kitchen extractor fan, Hydroponics, In-Line Extract Fans, or Cooker Hood. The duct on the extractor is exactly 150 and we need to connect on to 100 flexible ducting.

Yes this item will work but you require a 150mm male connector to join the 150mm end of the reducer to the 150mm ducting on your extractor as both ends are female. QI want to use this to connect 6 flexible bethroom extractor to 4 roof tile outlet will it do it and how best to attach pipe and it to outlet?answer nowA Hi IanThe 150mm connector (Quick Search) QS284 will connect the reducer and your 150mm flexible duct.I cannot be sure what type of spigot you have on the roof tile but these are often the same type of hard plastic reducer in which case you would need a cut section of straight pipe like QS193 to connect the two, duct tape will complete the connections.

Thanks richardanswer nowA Hello Richard, The 125mm/5 spigot on your cooker hood is likely to be male. This item is a 125mm Female to 100mm Male (5 F to 4 M) reducer. The 125mm female socket should fit over the 125mm male spigot of your cooker hood. The 100mm male spigot will then fit inside the 102mm diameter flexible hose.You can secure the fixing using quick release worm clips or metal hose clips. For permanent fixings, seal joints with silicone sealant, or duct tape.With kind regards, Michael

The biggest plastic round pipe we do is 150mm we do a 200mm in galvanised only this comes in 3mtr lengths and is 0.5mm thick.
Can you provide all of the detailed dimensions for this fitting, including i/d & o/d & depth of spigots, as you do for most other fittings.

Perfect adaptor from 6 inch to 100mm diameter. Was unable to source from any other supplier at a reasonable price, so purchased from here !
The product is basically as expected. The bigger end is just a little bit loose for the defined size. However, it can be used as intended for my project.
