Say if I wanted to the fan to go to standby when the humidity below 55% is that possible?answer nowA Hello DavidECO RH sensor measures the internal humidity and instructs the fan to increase speed when humidity levels rise, the humidity level which governs the fan speed is called the set point and can be reprogrammed at any time although it does not put the unit on stand by.
My requirement is for tempered fresh air in the master bedroom and I do not wish to leave the bedroom door open at nigh time to allow vent into the bedroom.
Therefore the grille needs to be in the bedroom. Is this unit suitable for this purpose.

A Hello KevinBecause the ventilator is for the whole house you want it to detect humidity in general so a hallway at high level roughly where a central heating thermostat would be located, would probably be ideal.
