I have just had this item installed in my small shower room/wc. The installer has left it in continuous mode. I am concerned that this doesnt need to be the case in view of escalating elctricity costs. I note from the installation manual that a dip switch can be set to disable constant running. If I do this and turn dip 4 off, will the fan still operate to humidity demands?

To be honest, when the fan us run continuously on a low trickle, it doesnt use a great deal of electricity. If you turn DIP4 off that will indeed disable the trickle mode, and will boost on SL and when Humidity threshold has been met.Kind regards, Marc

I think it is a single brick wall construction.
