Can you just confirm that this connector (smooth female side) will connect directly onto the 100mm pipe ref DUCVKC252 OR or similar or is there a requirement to install a DUCEK28 to join the two together?. OR is it more suitable to use a DUCVKC10? Just looking to connect the two. Thanks
This might be what I want, but could you verify the price please. Is there a better way of connecting to a pipe through the wall where it is visible?
Wow, thanks for spotting the error with that rogue price! It looks like the decimal place was missed out there, and it should all be fixed now!
This item is designed to connect to a standard size flexible hose to a 'male' fitting. Typically a 100mm pipe will be a FEMALE fitting, so you would need a threaded connector with a male end to connect to it. Luckily, we have just the part! If you search for 'DUCVKC10' in the search bar it should come up with the male version of the product.
You could also look at DUCVKC260 as an alternative option - This is a wall plate with damper which would allow you to connect to both your pipe and your flexible hose, but as this has no threads you could either use this in conjunction with DUCVKC11 to achieve a nice and secure fit, or you could use a hose clip (DUCVKC264) to secure this on.
